Chevron Enjoy Science project Launched

The Project launch event that brought together Thailand’s leading government representatives, the private sector, and education experts, which signaled a new direction forward for education services delivery. This launch reflected a wide partnership between 9 agencies under a budget of over $30 million.

STEM training activities

The Project conducted STEM activities for 1,372 science and math teachers, along with 268 leaders from 237 OBEC schools among three provinces consisting of Khon Kaen, Samut Prakarn and Songkhla, impacting 25,160 students.

Thailand Children University

Partnership between the Project, NSTDA, IPST, and 8 leading Thai Universities to launch TCU for over 3,400 students held at Chulalongkorn University.

STEM for TVET Camp

The STEM for TVET Camp aimed to spark passion in STEM education which can be applied to developing strong vocational skills, equipping students with the skills they may utilize to pursue numerous career paths.

Enjoy Science Careers Launch

The Project, in collaboration with the National Science Museum (NSM), launched Enjoy Science Careers, an interactive exhibition to inspire Thai youth to pursue education and careers in the fields of STEM, allowing students to interact with real professionals through role-playing activities that promote 10 highlighted STEM careers.

TVET Lanna Hub Launch

The Project, along with Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna and the National Science Technology and Innovation Policy Office (STI) officially launched the Lanna TVET Hub, serving as a center for teacher development and vocational student training, while providing students with a learning environment that simulates actual workplaces.

Bangkok Mini Maker Faire

Collaborating with NSTDA and network of partners, the Project organized the largest invention exhibition in Thailand, the “Bangkok Mini Maker Faire Year 2”. Creating opportunities for Makers and creative inventors from all across the country to meet, exchange, present, and showcase their ideas among 5,000 peers.

Enjoy Maker Space

The Ministry of Science worked along side the Project to open a new form of learning zone, “Enjoy Maker Space”. Located at the NSM science square downtown, Chamchuri Square, the zone allows Thai youths to unleash their scientific imagination to instill a thinker and innovator mindset worthy of calling themselves “Makers”.

TVET Educational Material Handover Ceremony

The Project organized a STEM for TVET materials handover ceremony with the Office of the Vocational Education Commission (OVEC), providing OVEC schools with first-rate curricular enhancements, including student textbooks along with hands-on science kits which reinforce each other to form a cohesive learning system for teachers and students alike.

5th Anniversary of Thailand Children’s University Inspiring and Cultivating Scientific Thinking among Youth

MOU signing between the project and 12 Thai leading University groups serving as regional STEM hubs to foster strong learning with schools and communities held at Sofitel Sukhumvit.

TVET DSD Automotive Hub Launch

The Project joined forces with The Department of Skill Development to establish TVET Automotive Hub to Support the Eastern Economic Corridor. The new generation of mechanical workforce is a key to national development per the government’s policy of promoting the automotive and auto parts industry as one of ten industries that will drive the nation’s future economy (the New S-Curve).

TVET SUT Microelectronic Hub Launch ceremony

The Project and Suranaree University of Technology officially launched the SUT Microelectronic Hub, recognizing the need for technical skills training. This Hub shall drive the competitiveness in the microelectronics sector and upgrade the quality of skilled workers to meet the industry’s requirements.

TVET Policy Brief Presentation

The Project joined forces with OVEC and FTI to present research on causes limiting industrial competitiveness as well as providing recommendations on developing a skilled workforce.

Enjoy Science Careers 2 Launch

The Project joined hands with the National Science Museum to launch Enjoy Science Careers Year 2 event, inspiring youth with 10 new careers in STEM through interactive exhibitions and activities.

TVET KKU Food Hub Launch

The Project and Khon Kaen University launched another TVET Hub to enhance STEM education and support industrial growth in Northeastern Thailand, intending to develop qualified technicians into the market, lifting the capacity of the populace and promoting future economic growth.

The project conducted a handover of industrial robotic tools and lesson plans worth 30 Million Baht for each and every 27 vocational schools in the project, held at Twin Tower Hotel.

Vocational seminar to strengthen collaboration between industrial players for Thailand workforce development held at Vayupak Convention Center.

Maker Faire Bangkok 2019 : WE ARE ALL MAKERS

The Project partnered up with NSTDA to unveil the official Maker Faire in Bangkok, the largest Maker Faire ever in Southeast Asia with over 70 booths showcasing Maker-style inventions, attracting over 10,000 attendees with a full spectrum of interactive workshops as well as an electric parade.

The Project in partnership NSM and Robinson Department Store, expanded on the success of the project encouraging and inspiring youngsters to take up careers in STEM. Through interactive exhibitions that offer opportunities for Thai youths all over the country to explore a new set of 10 future trends in STEM professions.

Maker Faire 2020

The Project in collaboration with NSTDA, MHESI, and partner organizations in public and private sectors, organized the “Maker Faire Bangkok 2020: THE FUTURE WE MAKE”. Being the largest gathering of makers in Southeast Asia, the event featured demonstrations, workshops on-stage talks, as well as inventions from local and international makers on display across 60 booths.
